Subject : Permission to organize ‘A Music Festival’ in the school.

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am Meet Shinde, the students’ representative of our school. I wish to seek your permission to organize ‘A Music Festival’ in the school auditorium on Saturday, 10th August, 2024, from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

Our students are deeply interested in music, and many of them sing or play instruments. Music is also a good stress reliever, especially before the examinations. The festival will give our talented students a stage and will encourage healthy competition.

We plan to hold solo and group singing, an instrumental round and a folk-song round. A committee of students, guided by our music teacher, will manage the stage, sound, seating, refreshments and discipline. We shall bear the expenses from the students’ fund and keep the programme over by 1.00 p.m. so that classes are not disturbed.

We have also decided to invite the famous singer Shri Ajay Atre as the chief guest, and we request you to permit us to send him a formal invitation.

Kindly grant us permission and guide us in making the programme a success.
