What the score is used for
The score is used in the State CET Cell's Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for MBA/MMS seats in government, government-aided, university-managed and unaided institutes in Maharashtra. In the 2026–27 CAP rules, Maharashtra State candidature required a non-zero MAH-MBA/MMS CET score, while All India candidates could use a non-zero score in MAH-CET, CAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, MAT or GMAT.
Tips for Maharashtra students
- If you are applying under Maharashtra State candidature, CAT alone was not enough in 2026–27; you needed a MAH-MBA/MMS CET score.
- Keep your Aadhaar details and APAAR ID ready; both were mandatory for CET registration in 2026 and were verified through DigiLocker.
- Caste validity and non-creamy layer certificates are needed at CAP time for reserved seats; apply for them early.
