Nothing will work unless you do
This saying means that dreams, plans and good luck are of no use unless we put in effort ourselves. A seed may have the power to become a tree, but it grows only when the farmer ploughs, sows and waters it. In the same way, a student may have talent, costly books and good teachers, yet he will not pass unless he studies.
Many people wait for the right time or blame fate for their failures. But history shows that great achievers like Thomas Edison and Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam succeeded because they worked tirelessly and did not give up after failures. Plans remain on paper until we act on them.
Hard work turns ability into achievement. Therefore, instead of waiting for things to happen, we must take the first step ourselves. Success comes only to those who work for it.
