Dear Rohan,
Wishing you and your family a very happy Diwali in advance! This year I want to celebrate Diwali in a new way, and I would love you to join us.
Please come to my house on Sunday, 2 November, at 11 a.m. I have also invited Sneha, Aditya and Neha from our class. My mother is preparing a special lunch with puran poli and basundi.
After lunch we will play games and hold a rangoli competition. The innovative part is that, instead of bursting crackers, we will make paper lanterns and decorate diyas, and in the evening we will distribute them along with sweets to the children of the orphanage near our colony. This way we can enjoy a pollution-free Diwali and share our happiness with others.
Do come and bring your brother along. I am eagerly waiting to see you.
