The Anusheelan Samiti was a revolutionary organisation formed in Bengal in 1902; its Dhaka branch was led by Pulin Behari Das.
It trained young men in physical exercise and the use of arms, with the aim of overthrowing British rule by armed struggle.
Barindrakumar Ghosh and Aurobindo Ghosh were associated with it. In 1908 Khudiram Bose and Prafulla Chaki attacked the carriage at Muzaffarpur thinking it carried Judge Kingsford.
The British crushed it through the Alipore Bomb Case, but it inspired later revolutionaries.
