The Santoor Women's Scholarship, from Wipro Consumer Care and Wipro Cares, supports girls from government schools and junior colleges in their first year of an undergraduate degree, with ₹30,000. In 2026-27 it was open to students in Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra, and applications closed on 15 October 2026. Who could apply in 2026-27
- Young women from Andhra Pradesh or Maharashtra pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree.
- In the first year of the course in 2026-27.
- Passed Class 10 from a local government school.
- Passed Class 12 in 2025-26 from a government school or junior college.
- Children of Wipro, Santoor and Buddy4Study employees could not apply.
The programme encourages students in humanities, liberal arts and sciences as well as professional courses, and gives preference to students from backward districts. Students selected in earlier years from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Chhattisgarh continue to receive the scholarship until they finish, if eligible.
Benefit
The official Santoor Scholarships website says selected students receive ₹30,000 per year until they complete their course, for tuition or other education expenses. Wipro's Maharashtra announcement of 7 October 2026 also describes ₹30,000 per year for the duration of the degree. The 2026-27 application listing on Buddy4Study, the programme's application partner, describes it as a one-time fixed ₹30,000. If you are selected, confirm whether your award is yearly or one-time.

Tips for Maharashtra students
- Maharashtra was included in both the 2025-26 and 2026-27 rounds. Confirm it is included again when the 2027-28 round is announced.
- Both your Class 10 school and your Class 12 junior college must be government institutions. If you studied at an aided junior college, check with the helpline before applying.
- Apply in your first year of degree college; second-year students are not eligible.
