(i) Mineral:
The naturally occurring compounds of elements are known as Mineral.
(ii) Ore:
Minerals from which metals can be extracted profitably are known as ores.
(iii) Gangue:
The impurities present in the ore such as sand, rocks etc are non as gangue.
