Subject : Request to help organize a ‘Save Electricity’ drive in our school.

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am Prakash Deshmukh, a student of Class X of Zilla Parishad High School, Shahpur. Our school has decided to observe a ‘Save Electricity Week’ from 1st July to 7th July, 2026, and I request the Board’s help in making it a success.

The drive aims to teach students and villagers that saving electricity is the easiest way to save the planet. We plan to put up a notice board and posters with the slogans “Switch off lights and fans when not in use”, “Use LED bulbs”, “Maintain appliances”, “Use solar energy” and “Conduct home energy audits”. We shall also hold an essay competition, a quiz and a street play in the village square.

We therefore request you to send one of your engineers to guide our students and to explain to them, with a demonstration, how an LED bulb and a solar lamp save units. We would also be grateful for a few leaflets and posters, and for permission to visit the local sub-station.

Kindly consider our request and inform us of a convenient date. We assure you of our full co-operation.
