Title : Threats to Our Environment and Their Solutions

Our environment is damaged by causes that are both man-made and natural. Too many people put pressure on the earth’s resources, and droughts make the shortage of food and water worse; the remedy is stricter laws to control population.

More and more agricultural land is needed to feed the evergrowing population, while floods destroy standing crops. Here again stricter laws and their proper execution are necessary.

Man cuts forests for wood and other products, and forest fires destroy large areas of green cover. The solution is to use alternative products instead of wood and to protect our forests from fire.

Finally, hunters poach wild animals for their parts. The demand for illegal wildlife parts and products can be reduced only if people refuse to buy products made from these items.

If these solutions are followed sincerely, our environment can still be saved.
