Last summer my uncle took our family to a five-star hotel to celebrate his promotion. Before we left, I proudly announced that dinner would be my treat, as I had saved my pocket money for months. We ordered soup, biryani and ice-cream, and the waiter treated us like royalty. When the bill arrived, I put my hand into my pocket and froze. It was empty. I searched my bag and every pocket while my cousins began to giggle. Then it struck me. After the sumptuous meal in a luxurious hotel, I discovered that I had forgotten my wallet at home.
