Q.5 (B) (II) Miss Joseph focuses on ‘the importance of international and interracial cooperation.’ - Justify. (2)
Best answer
Answer: In her opening address Miss Joseph said that all their lessons stressed the brotherhood of mankind and the interdependence of all people, in spite of differences of place, colour, race and creed.
Introducing her class’s report at the Students’ Council, Moira Joseph said their lessons had a bias towards the brotherhood of mankind : every subject taught them that all people are interdependent, whatever their location, colour, race or creed. The reports that followed — common weights and measures, shared research on crop pests, and Fernman’s skeleton showing all people are basically the same — supported her theme.
