About this paper
This is the actual Maharashtra State Board (MSBSHSE) HSC (Class 12) English (01) board paper of the February–March 2026 examination, written on 10 February 2026 (Day 01, 11.00 a.m.). The paper code printed on the activity sheet is J-101. English (Yuvakbharati) is a compulsory paper common to all streams — Science, Commerce and Arts — so this paper is the same for every HSC student. The questions are transcribed from the board activity sheet, as published on the board’s official website, mahahsscboard.in. The model answers are original Doubtly answers, not an official board answer key.

How to use it
Attempt the paper in one 3-hour sitting, then compare your answers with the model answers. Check the format of each writing-skills answer (headings, salutation, word limit) as carefully as the content — format carries marks. For personal-response activities (such as A4 in the prose and poetry extracts), our answer is one sample; any sensible, well-written personal answer is acceptable.
FAQs

Why is it called the March 2026 paper if it was held on 10 February?
The board calls the main annual examination the February–March 2026 examination; the English paper was the first paper of that session, held on 10 February 2026.
Are these the board’s official answers?
No. The questions are the board’s, but the answers are model answers written by Doubtly to show how a good student would answer. The board’s moderator answer key is not public.
