Post : Read for Survival — Books Are My Lifeline!

In a world of endless scrolling, reading is not just a hobby — it is a survival skill. It keeps our minds alive, calm and alert.

I enjoy many kinds of books: detective stories like ‘The Sign of Four’, biographies of great achievers, science fiction and short stories by R.K. Narayan. Each genre opens a new window to the world.

Reading improves vocabulary, concentration and imagination. It reduces stress, builds empathy and helps us think critically instead of believing every forward on social media.

Personally, a book saved me during my exam anxiety — the life story of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam gave me courage when I felt like giving up.

So, friends, switch off the screen for thirty minutes a day and pick up a book. Read to grow, read to survive!
