SAY NO TO PLASTIC !

“Plastic is a curse — don’t make the Earth worse!”

Dear citizens,

Every plastic bag we use takes hundreds of years to decompose. It chokes our drains and rivers, causes floods, kills cows and sea animals that swallow it, and poisons our soil. Burning plastic releases toxic gases that harm our health.

Let us pledge to :

• carry cloth or jute bags while shopping;
• use steel bottles and tiffins instead of plastic ones;
• refuse plastic straws, cups and plates;
• segregate waste and send plastic for recycling.
