How to Study for the SSC 10th Boards With AI (Without Getting Wrong Answers)

AI assistants can explain a hard step at midnight, quiz you, and help you plan revision. They can also give a confident wrong answer, and you lose marks for a wrong method in a board exam. Here is a routine Maharashtra SSC Class 10 students can follow to get the benefits without the risks.

1. Ask for understanding, not just the answer

Instead of "solve this", ask "explain the first step and let me try the next one". Board examiners give marks for steps, and you only learn the steps by doing them. On Doubtly, Doubtly Dost is set up to guide you this way.

2. Always check against a verified solution

Use AI that works from checked sources. Doubtly Dost searches Doubtly's verified solutions first and links the page it used. If you use your own assistant, connect the Doubtly MCP server so it can do the same. If an answer has no source, treat it as a hint, not the truth.

3. Turn every doubt into practice

After you understand a concept, test it straight away. Each chapter on Doubtly has a free chapter test, and each subject has full tests and previous board papers. See the free mock tests guide.

4. Track your weak chapters

Mark chapters as done in the syllabus tracker. Chapter test scores below 60% are flagged as weak, so you know what to revise first. Ask Dost, or your MCP-connected assistant, "what should I study next?" and it plans from your real progress.

5. Practise in exam conditions

AI cannot write your paper. Once a week, solve a full board paper on paper with a timer, then compare with the worked answers.

A sample daily routine (60–90 minutes)

  1. 15 min: learn one topic from the textbook.
  2. 15 min: ask Dost to explain the parts you didn't get, step by step.
  3. 20 min: take that chapter's test.
  4. 10 min: review every wrong answer against its verified solution.
  5. 5 min: update your tracker.

What not to do

  • Don't use AI during a live test or exam. It only hides what you need to learn.
  • Don't copy long AI answers into your notebook. Write the steps in your own words.
  • Don't trust numbers, dates or formulas without a source link.

Used well, AI is a patient tutor that is always awake. Start with Doubtly Dost (free for Class 10 students), and if you already use Claude, Cursor or VS Code, connect the Doubtly MCP server.
