About this paper

This is the Maharashtra State Board (MSBSHSE) HSC (Class 12) Commerce Mathematics and Statistics (88) board paper of the June 2026 (supplementary) examination, held on 24 June 2026. The paper code printed on the question paper is J-280. The questions are transcribed from the board’s own printed question paper published on its website; the blanks in the activity questions are shown as empty boxes [ ]. The answers are original answers written by Doubtly, not the board’s official model answers.

Paper pattern

Maximum marks 80, time 3 hours, six questions in two sections, written in the same answer book. Section I (Part 1: logic, matrices, differentiation and its applications, integration, definite integration and its application, differential equations) has Q.1 to Q.3; Section II (Part 2: commission and discount, insurance and annuity, regression, time series, index numbers, LPP, assignment and sequencing, probability distributions) has Q.4 to Q.6. Q.1 and Q.4 (12 marks each) have six MCQs, three true/false and three fill-in-the-blanks of 1 mark each; only the first attempt is evaluated. Q.2 and Q.5 (14 marks each) have (A) any two of three 3-mark questions and (B) any two of three 4-mark questions. Q.3 and Q.6 (14 marks each) have (A) any two of three 3-mark questions, (B) any one of two 4-mark questions and (C) any one of two 4-mark activity questions with boxes to fill. Log tables are allowed, calculators are not; for LPP and time series graphs only a rough sketch is expected.

How to use it

Attempt the paper in one 3-hour sitting, choosing questions the way the paper allows, then compare each step with the worked answers. For activity questions, the answer lists the value of every box.
