Algebra full subject test for Class 10 SSC
This test mixes all six chapters of the Algebra (Mathematics Part I) syllabus in one sitting, so it works as a revision check before the prelims or the board exam. There are four or five questions from each chapter:
- Linear equations: solving a simple pair, evaluating a determinant, using D, Dx, Dy
- Quadratic equations: the condition a ≠ 0, roots by factorisation, discriminant and nature of roots
- Arithmetic progression: the 10th term, sum of odd numbers, S₆, a negative common difference
- Financial planning: the full form of GST, GST at 28%, SEBI, a share at a premium
- Probability: impossible events, letters of MAHARASHTRA, coins, multiples of 7
- Statistics: class limits, direct-method mean, pie diagram percentage, step deviation, median class
Format
25 multiple-choice questions, 1 mark each (25 marks), 40 minutes. One correct option per question, no negative marking.
How to use it
Take it after completing the whole book, ideally in one quiet sitting with the timer on. Afterwards, group your mistakes by chapter; the chapter with the most errors is the one to revise first, using its own chapter test. The Algebra subject page has solved questions, and the March 2025 Algebra board paper shows the written pattern.
