About this practice paper

This is an original Doubtly practice paper for Maharashtra SSC Science and Technology Part 2 (Class 10). It follows the board’s question-paper pattern, but it is not an official board paper; every question is new and was written for practice. Each question has a full model answer.

Pattern: 40 marks, 2 hours

Q.1 (A) has five MCQs and Q.1 (B) has five one-mark items (one-line answers, true or false, correlation, full form). Q.2 (A) asks for scientific reasons (any two) and Q.2 (B) has two-mark questions (any three). Q.3 has three-mark questions (any five), and Q.4 is a five-mark question (any one). All ten chapters are covered: heredity and evolution, life processes parts 1 and 2, environmental management, green energy, animal classification, microbiology, cell biology and biotechnology, social health and disaster management.

How to use it

Write the paper in 2 hours, attempting only the number of questions each heading asks for. Then compare your answers with the model answers and note the points you missed; a 3-mark answer usually needs three clear points.

FAQs

Is this the real board paper?

No. It is a practice paper made by Doubtly in the board pattern. Use it alongside the board’s previous papers.

Do I have to attempt all questions?

No. As in the board exam, Q.2 (A), Q.2 (B), Q.3 and Q.4 have internal choice; the heading of each question says how many to attempt.

Do I need to draw diagrams?

Draw neat, labelled diagrams wherever they help, for example the stages of respiration or the parts of a power plant; they earn marks in the board exam.
