Social Health chapter test

This test covers Chapter 9 of SSC Science Part 2. It starts with the WHO definition of health and what social health means. The rest is about addiction and its effects: the addictive substance in tobacco, the oral problems caused by chewing gutkha and kharra, passive smoking, the date of World No Tobacco Day, the organ damaged most by long-term drinking, and how alcohol acts on the central nervous system. The test also includes media and screen addiction (heavy use of the internet, mobile phones and video games) and asks which habit helps in managing stress.

Format

10 multiple-choice questions, 1 mark each, 15 minutes. One correct option each and no negative marking.

How to use it

This is one of the shorter chapters, so the test is a quick way to collect marks. Take it after reading the chapter once. Afterwards, read the explanation of each question; they also give facts you can use in "write the effects" or "suggest measures" questions. If your score is under 6, revise the types of addiction, their effects and the stress management methods listed in the book.

More questions are on the SSC Science Part 2 page, and every Class 10 test is on the exam hub.
