Science & Technology Part 2 10 questions

Disaster Management chapter test

This test covers Chapter 10, the last chapter of SSC Science Part 2. It covers both knowing about disasters and knowing what to do. The knowledge questions ask which scale measures earthquake magnitude, what mainly causes a tsunami, which disaster on a list is man-made, the year India's Disaster Management Act was passed, and the gas that leaked in the 1984 Bhopal tragedy. The action questions ask what to do during an earthquake inside a building, what not to use on an electrical fire, what CPR stands for, the compression-to-breath ratio for adult CPR, and which stage of disaster management school mock drills belong to.

Format

  • 10 single-correct MCQs
  • 1 mark each, total 10
  • 15 minutes with no negative marking

How to use it

Take the test after reading the chapter and the first-aid section. Several questions describe a situation, so imagine it and think about the safest action before choosing. After submitting, read the explanations; they give the reasons that written answers on effects and remedial measures need. If you score below 6, revise the stages of disaster management and the basic first-aid steps.
