Economy and Occupations chapter test
This test covers Chapter 8 of SSC Geography, comparing the economies of India and Brazil. It asks what type of economy the two countries have, and Brazil's currency. For Brazil, the questions cover the product it exports most, its main coffee-growing states, the local name for coffee farms, and why the south-east coast is a good fishing ground. For India, they cover the share of land under cultivation and the state where Korba's coal mines are. Two questions ask you to read the 2016 pie charts: the tertiary sector's share of Brazil's GDP and the share of India's population in primary activities.
Format

How to use it
Take it after reading the chapter and studying the pie charts carefully. Pie-chart questions are common in the board paper too, so practise reading each sector's value. After submitting, read every explanation. If your score is below 6, revise the primary, secondary and tertiary activities of both countries and the mineral and fishing regions.
The Geography subject page has more practice, and the SSC exam hub lists every test and board paper.
