About the July 2025 SSC Geometry board paper

This is the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Class 10 Mathematics Part II (Geometry) question paper of the July 2025 examination, paper code N 697, English medium, Revised Course. It carries 40 marks in 2 hours and follows the standard geometry pattern: Q.1 has four one-mark MCQs and four one-mark sub-questions, Q.2 and Q.3 each have an activity part and a short-answer part with internal choice, Q.4 has three four-mark sub-questions and Q.5 has two three-mark sub-questions.

The paper tests similarity, the Pythagoras theorem, circles, coordinate geometry, trigonometry, mensuration and geometric constructions. It includes one tangent-secant activity, one arc-length activity, an inscribed-angle activity on a chord equal to the radius, a proof of the Pythagoras theorem and two construction questions.
