About the June 2026 SSC Geometry board paper

The June 2026 Maharashtra SSC Mathematics Part II (Geometry) paper, code N 397, follows the standard 40-mark, two-hour pattern: four one-mark MCQs and four one-mark short answers in Q.1, activities and short answers in Q.2 and Q.3, two four-mark questions in Q.4 and a three-mark question in Q.5, with internal choice at every stage.

The paper draws on all seven geometry chapters. Similarity appears through the angle bisector theorem and an area-ratio proof, Pythagoras' theorem through the square and rectangle diagonals, Apollonius' theorem and a Pythagorean triplet, Circle through tangent-secant and arc-measure problems plus the cyclic quadrilateral theorem, and Co-ordinate Geometry through the Y-axis, slope and the midpoint and distance formulae. Trigonometry covers \(\sin^2 heta + \cos^2 heta = 1\), the angle of elevation and a \( anlpha\) problem, while Mensuration covers the area of a sector, arc length and the melting of a cylinder into coins.
