March 2026 SSC Marathi Second/Third Language (अक्षरभारती) board paper
This is the Marathi Second or Third Language paper (Marathi 16, textbook अक्षरभारती), not the First Language paper. It is the Maharashtra State Board (MSBSHSE) SSC question paper of the February–March 2026 examination, paper code N 871 (“MARATHI (16) (SECOND OR THIRD LANGUAGE) (M), Revised Course”), written on 23 February 2026, 11.00 a.m. The questions are transcribed from the board’s printed question paper (15 pages). Source: the Maharashtra State Board's printed question paper (paper code N 871). Every model answer is an original Doubtly answer, not the board’s answer key. If you study Marathi as your First Language (कुमारभारती, Marathi 01), use our First Language board papers instead.

How to use it
Write the paper in one 3-hour sitting, drawing the आकृती/आकृतिबंध in pen as the instructions say. Then compare with the model answers. For स्वमत, काव्यसौंदर्य and writing tasks our answer is one good sample; any well-argued answer in correct Marathi earns marks. Where the paper offers a choice we have answered every option so that you can practise all of them.
FAQs
Is this the First Language Marathi paper?
No. This is the Second/Third Language paper (Marathi 16, अक्षरभारती). The First Language paper (कुमारभारती) for March 2026 had the code N 801 and different lessons.
Are these the board’s official answers?
No. The questions are the board’s; the answers are written by Doubtly to show how a good student would answer.
One sentence on page 10 of the scan is faint. How was it read?
Page 10 of the scan is very light and low-resolution, so it was read with contrast enhancement. Q.4 (अ) (3) gives ‘तथ्य असणे’, ‘उत्साहाला उधाण येणे’ and ‘ऋण असणे’ (any two, 4 marks), and each of the four items of Q.4 (आ) (1) carries 1 mark. In Q.4 (अ) (2) (ii) the first word cannot be read with certainty (it may be printed ‘ती’); we give the sentence as ‘तो देखावा खूप सुंदर आहे.’ because देखावा is masculine. The answer is the same either way.
